FLORAL TANK

Is there anything better than a side braid when it is so hot and humid? I don't think so. For this braid I clipped in a few of my bellami extensions to give it a little more length. Definitely will be my go-to on the days I don't want to curl my hair. This was just a casual look I wore to a family get together. It is simple, yet colorful. I hope you are having a wonderful week! PLAY BALL

As I mentioned in my last post, yesterday was our one year anniversary. We went to the Cardinals game and the weather was perfect. It was a bit warm in the sun but the shade was amazing. I have said before that I get hot easily, so I am pretty much in some sort of a dress all Summer long. Especially during the day. Dresses are so much cooler for me than shorts. So with that being said, I knew we were going to the game for our anniversary and I wanted a very casual dress. I found this one at Target and well, I found it in the Sleepwear section. It is technically a night shirt, but I think it works as a dress and if I would not had said it wasn't, I don't think you would ever know. It is perfect because you can add any color to it depending on what team your rooting for. And adding the converse just gave it that sporty touch. After the game we ate the top tier of our cake and watched our wedding movie and of course I cried all over again, but I loved every minute of it. If you or someone you know is getting married, I highly suggest a videographer. The memories they give you are priceless. Oh, and the cake was actually still really good!

FLORAL BLAZER

Does anything say Spring more than floral? I don't think so. I had been searching for a great floral blazer and I found one at Forever 21, but of coarse now it's sold out. You may be able to find it in a store though.  Another thing I have been looking for is a fringe bag. I love the gray color of this one and I think it looks great with floral. Plus makes your outfit a little more fun. Dusting off these Ray-Bans was really exciting too. The last time I wore them was on vacation in Punta Cana back in December. So putting them on it took me back to that gorgeous weather. Their blue color makes you think of the ocean and warmer weather.

SPRING FORWARD

I am so excited that Spring is just around the corner. I have never been happier to loose an hour of sleep! The weather yesterday was amazing. I scooped up my sister and my husband and we spend the day going around different spots in St. Louis. We took these pictures by one of my favorite sculptures, the steel animals by The Zoo and Forest Park. I love when something is made out of the unexpected. My Dad owns a pipe and steel company, and my sister makes sculptures out of his steel, hers are not the same as these, but the similar materials hit close to home. Has anyone seen this sculpture in downtown Chicago? That's my sisters! She has a few other pieces throughout the city too, so check them out if your in the area.

NEON PUMPS

I have been having the best luck with Kohl's jeans these days. Well just Kohl's in general. I have been finding such great things there. Most of this outfit is from there. These jeans are from the LC Lauren Conrad line. I love the grey color with the neon pumps.

NEON

Neon is all over the place it seems, and I love to wear it with black. It really adds a punch to your outfit. The polka dot shirt and statement necklace made it even more fun. If wearing neon makes you nervous, start small with a jewelry piece and  play around with it.  This was the first time my husband helped me with the photos and I think he did a pretty great job. How do you think he did?

HATS OFF

Happy Friday! My sister and I took some quick photos today near my home town. It is soo cold out, so we took them really fast. The shoes, bag and pants are few of my closet favorites this season. They are so versatile. The pants are so easy to wear, affordable and I love the cut. I may have bought them in three colors... Hope you have a wonderful (and warm) weekend!!
