Hopefully this will be the last time gloves will be necessary this season, but I don't want to jinx it. But with the seasons changing, stores are having great sales to make room for Spring. So there are a lot of great deals out there. This skirt is one of them because you can wear it year round. It's faux leather and I love the color. Just loose the tights and add some strappy sandals and it's ready for the warmer months. Today is looking like it is going to be beautiful outside so let's all keep our fingers crossed that it stays that way!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! If even you aren't big on the holiday, you can at least use it as an excuse to eat some sugary, chocolatey goodness. This look is inspired by the holiday and when I was growing up my mom would carpool us to our grade school and we always had to listen to the oldies radio station. I remember listening to "Love Potion No. 9" by The Searchers, so when I saw this sweater it struck a cord with me. Plus I think the sweater is absolutely adorable and I love me a sequin shirt. Well anything for that matter. If anyone else in this world remembers this song let me know so I don't feel alone. Hope you all have a great Friday! IT'S ELECTRIC

I am always on the look out for a great sweater dress. Well a great and long sweater dress. They always seem to be too short for what I want. But I found this one at Kohl's and it was on sale too. Win, win! I love the vibrant blue color, it wakes up a winter outfit. And I got to wear Candy Yum Yum by MAC again, so that was exciting. The bright pink next to the blue...ahh magic!

TEXTURES IN BLACK

When in doubt, wear black. I think everyone can agree with that. Wearing all black is always a winner for me. In this look I wore all black but I mixed up the textures of it. My pants are faux leather, boots are suede and the jacket is a faux fur. I am obsessed with this jacket and it is really warm. Wearing an all black out fit also gives you a great opportunity to amp up your lipstick. I am wearing candy yum yum by MAC. It seemed a little too intense for me the first time, but I gave it a second chance and now I really love it.

ASYMMETRICAL

Snow is in the forecast again for today, so I know I will be getting a lot of use out of my sweaters. Especially my turtlenecks. My love for them probably stems from my mom. She wears them year round. No joke, she will wear them in the summer. I do love them, but come July you will not be seeing me in one. This black and white one is extra fun because of the asymmetrical hem and the cowl neck. I wanted to play up the edginess of the hem so I paired it with faux leather leggings. I bought both the pants and sweater before Christmas and they are no longer available but I listed some other options below.
