GREVE AND SIENA

JUMPSUIT {almost exact} // BAG // SCARF // SUNNIES // HAT {similar} // FLIP FLOPS

If there is one thing my husband and I learned from our trip, it is that we are not big city people. We much preferred the smaller towns and the great thing about Italy is that even the smallest towns have an incredible amount of charm. This day we spent most of our time in Greve (Chianti). As soon as we pulled up to it, we knew it would be a favorite. Much slower paced and quieter. After we finished our coffee and biscotti, we took a short hike up to explore Montefioralle. It was a small town that was almost like a maze. Every turn lead you somewhere else. There were no shops, but it was just fun to walk through. It felt like you were in a story book. After we walked around we had lunch at La Castellana. I highly recommend this restaurant!! Especially if you like truffle--they specialize in it.  It was so delicious. Definitely one of our favorite meals on the trip. There were other wineries in the area that you could visit as well, but we just stuck to the one.
After our bellies were full, we headed off to Siena. Siena is definitely larger, but it still maintained a slower pace. We walked around and sat at the Piazza del Campo and relaxed. It was one of my favorite days.
