BRIGHTER DAYS

The sun is finally coming out but I love that there is still a breeze in the air. It's great for throwing on a jacket, especially a bright one! I was immediately drawn to this color. It's not quite orange not quite red and its faux leather so its not too heavy to wear into Spring. I recently got this statement necklace too. I tend to like simpler patterns, so adding a statement necklace just adds that extra punch. I can't get enough of them. This one is from Bauble Bar, but be careful with this site. SCHOOLED

I went to a Catholic grade school and this dress reminded me of our uniform jumper we had to wear. It looked very similar except ours was a green and blue plaid and we had to be very sure the hem length touched our knees. This is a great dress because it can easily go from season to season. And I was really excited to wear my new booties. I have always been a little hesitant about booties for some reason, but these were just right for me.
