LEOPARD PRINT

I know I have talked about Kohl's before but they really have some adorable stuff. I gravitate towards the LC Lauren Conrad and Rock & Republic brands but I am always pleasantly surprised by what I find. I love wearing head to toe black because you can get creative with the accessories. Here I chose the classic, a read lip and leopard, but the possibilities are endless. This is a skirt and a top. I love how girly the skirt with the slight ruffle and the collar on the top I think is so cute too.  Easter is getting so close and the trees are starting to bloom, and the grass...don't event get me started. I don't think I have ever been more excited to see green grass. The winter was so weird and looooong. I am so glad it's over. Bring on the Spring dresses! Have a wonderful weekend!

CASUAL PLAID

Last weekend we stopped by the Central West End to get a coffee, but I am not a huge coffee drinker, so I got ice cream instead! Coffee Cartel has great coffee but the ice cream was calling my name. And they had my favorite flavor...butter pecan. I shared too, so I think everyone was happy. 

I love how effortless this look is.  I am always on the hunt for a great plaid shirt and this one was even better because it is longer. I am 5'8'' so I'm sure some could wear it as a dress and that would be even cuter. I am a big fan of these wedge sneakers too. Like I have said before I am a heels girl, and this is perfect when you want to wear a casual heel but you know you are going to be walking a lot. They are comfortable and come in so many different styles. I highly suggest picking a pair up!

BRIGHTER DAYS

The sun is finally coming out but I love that there is still a breeze in the air. It's great for throwing on a jacket, especially a bright one! I was immediately drawn to this color. It's not quite orange not quite red and its faux leather so its not too heavy to wear into Spring. I recently got this statement necklace too. I tend to like simpler patterns, so adding a statement necklace just adds that extra punch. I can't get enough of them. This one is from Bauble Bar, but be careful with this site. I always want everything. Your closet will thank you but your wallet may not...

ROSES IN WINTER

So since Valentines Day is right around the corner I thought I would do a sweet look in it's honor. I think this dress is perfect for the holiday. First of all it's pink and red. Second it's covered in roses. And third...it's under $20! Plus it has a fun cut out detail in the back. Can it get any better than that?
