CREAM ON CREAM

I have grown pretty fond of blouses lately. You can style them so many ways. I bought this blouse a few months ago in every color it came in. That may sound like a lot but it's really only three colors. Black, cream and a lime green. The green and the cream are still on the website, but it looks like the black is sold out. I am super glad I bought every color because I have worn them like crazy. Especially this cream one. I love the freshness of cream. You just look clean and put together. That is until you eat something and it gets all over, but that's why napkins were invented. Anyway, I love this look for Spring because the top is thin and flowy and the trench is light weight so it's great for when there is still a slight breeze. I am trying to soak up as much of this weather as possible before I start complaining about the heat and humidity!

SPIKES

For this weeks pictures, we went to my sisters friends house out in Foristell. Their home is in the middle of the woods and right off of a lake. It was a really fun place to get some different shots. I mean how often do you take pictures in a deer stand with spiky heels? or on a tool box for that matter.
This is another outfit where all of the colors are pretty similar but the accessories are what make the difference. I got these shoes a few years ago and they are by far some of my favorites. They are still around but you have to search for them. These jeans are a recent purchase and they are going to get a lot of wear this Spring. Gap always has these random sales online so I was able to snatch these up for about $40. I was looking for some distressed jeans, so when these went on sale, I jumped on it. I also think you can never have too many great t-shirts. This one is really soft and the price just makes it that much better. Staple closet items can be tricky to find, so when you find one, don't hesitate!
