SPRING DRESSES

With summer and wedding season just around the corner, I put together some great dress options. I am a total dress girl. They are what I am most comfortable in and I love feeling girly. I hope these get you excited for some fancy summer events!

The first dress is my favorite :)

TASSELS & TURQUOISE

Love Love Love this look! Really, I just love wearing turquoise any chance I can. Something about turquoise with a light color just ahh makes me happy. I actually decided the weekend that I took these photos that it was going to be come my personal mission to have an amazing collection of turquoise jewelry by the time I am 60 so I have some work to do.
Anyway...hope you enjoy this look. I purchased this dress from Target but it is sold out online, but the identical dress is at Nordstrom! I have been really loving off the shoulder dresses and this one is no exception.  Happy Friday!

STAR ROMPER

It can get so boring doing the same poses over and over again so, I decided to take advantage of my parents playground for this look. Definitely more fun that just standing there! It actually made me kinda sad because this door thing was really sqeeky and didn't spin as easy as it used too. I guess I'm all grown up :( I don't even know what this is called but it can make you dizzy real quick.
I thought this romper was so cute. I wish I would have found it sooner because it would have been perfect for the 4th of July. Oh well. I hope everyone has a great weekend a head of them. It looks like the weather is going to be beautiful. I think fall might be creeping it's way in and that makes me happy on so many levels!

CROCHET MAXI

Another day, another dress. Dresses are pretty much my go-to year round but especially in Summer. It's just too hot for jeans! This dress was especially exciting for me because it is loooong. I am 5'8'' and it is so hard to find long maxi dresses. I'm really picky about length too, they have to touch the ground or I fell they just don't look right on me. This dress comes in a few other colors but it just recently went on sale so there may not be many left. It's a pretty simple look, but that's what I love.
Oh and my little man Jackson would not leave my side while we took the pictures so I had to include him in a few... ;)

EASY BREEZY

Another great Kohl's find. If you can't tell by now I shop at Kohl's a lot. They really do have great pieces and I am still always pleasantly surprised. I absolutely love this dress. It is so soft and feminine. Great for those hot summer days.
PS I hope you don't get too sick of the backgrounds in my pictures. My husband graduates in December and until then we are still living with my parents and since we are out in the country, it's always easier to take pictures before my clothes get wrinkled after a 30 min car ride.

COLD SHOULDER

I really love wearing dresses that show your shoulders. I think there is something very feminine about shoulders. Call me crazy. This dress is perfect for that peek a boo vibe. It's very breezy and comes in three other colors. For some reason I have been into bright colors. I usually like softer hues but I'm loving the bright accessories this year, and this look is no exception. I am so sad I cant find this clutch anymore. I linked a few similar ones down below though. Hope you enjoy!

LEOPARD SHORTS

I hope you all had a great week and are looking forward to and even better weekend. I got this top during the Nordstrom sale that just ended and I absolutely love it. It is a great fit and a great length. So comfortable too. I bought it in green as well. Amazing! Another amazing thing is that these shorts just went on sale for $17 and if you have discount code they are even cheaper.
Happy Friday!

POMS AND COLOR

This look totally takes me back to our trip to Puerto Vallarta in March. My husband and I had the best time ever there and can not wait to go back. By far one of my favorite places in Mexico. While we were there we went to a town called Sayulita. It is a surfer/hippie town that had the best restaurants and street shops. One particular shop what I was drawn to had these poms on my bag. The lady who made them was as sweet as can be and had so many different types of these poms. If you are ever there, I highly recommend checking out her shop. I have kept them on my bag all summer and it's just a fun way to add some color to your look.

TEWENTY SEVEN

It has been over a year since my last blog post. I can't believe how fast time has gone by. I also didn't realize how many readers I had. Blogging can definitely be very discouraging considering there are millions of them, but I was really touched by how many people would ask me why I stopped and encourage me to start back up again. So I decided that I would give it a go again. Thank you all so much for reading and I hope to make this more regular again.
Also, my Instagram {dedeprange} is going to be the best way to keep up with when I post, so be sure to follow me there. Talk to you soon! :)

COUNTRY ROAD

I have said before that I am from a very small town in the country and sometimes I just love to bring out my roots. Every summer, parishes around us have their Church Picnics. It is such a part of summer to me. I wore this last Sunday to one. On our way there, we found this picture perfect country road. A gravel road with corn growing along side it...doesn't get more country than that! The picnics are usually very dusty and your feet can get so dirty, so I opted for booties and I think they looked pretty cute. And they were very practical. A practical shoe is usually not what I go for, but in this case it worked out.
