FALL FLORAL

I think by now you have figured out that I shop at Kohl's...a lot. The LC Lauren Conrad brand is one of my favorites and when I heard they were going to be coming out with a Runway Collection I knew it was going to be good. I was hoping there would be some extra details and risks that perhaps they were not able to take regularly, and they did not disappoint. Everything in her line was a bit more elevated and has that girly touch that I love. The whole Runway Collection honestly is great. You should really check it out before everything sells out. I will say however that the sizing is a little tricky. More often then not I had to go up a size or two, but for the price I couldn't resist. I hope you like this girly look. Thanks so nuch for reading and have a great weekend!

PINKY PROMISE

It has been a few weeks since my last post, but I'm back at it again! My husband had been out of town for the last 6 weeks on and off and it was becoming harder for me to take pictures. So since he is now home, it will be much easier to keep up with content. And what better way to jump right back into it than with this bright little number. I was a little skeptical of it at first, but when I put it on with the blazer, I loved it. It's a fun way to transition into cooler weather. You still get the fun bright color of summer, but more coverage with the blazer for Fall. The blazer is very well made and has a really cute surprise cut out in the back. I hope you enjoy this look and are enjoying this beautiful weather!

STAR ROMPER

It can get so boring doing the same poses over and over again so, I decided to take advantage of my parents playground for this look. Definitely more fun that just standing there! It actually made me kinda sad because this door thing was really sqeeky and didn't spin as easy as it used too. I guess I'm all grown up :( I don't even know what this is called but it can make you dizzy real quick.
I thought this romper was so cute. I wish I would have found it sooner because it would have been perfect for the 4th of July. Oh well. I hope everyone has a great weekend a head of them. It looks like the weather is going to be beautiful. I think fall might be creeping it's way in and that makes me happy on so many levels!

CROCHET MAXI

Another day, another dress. Dresses are pretty much my go-to year round but especially in Summer. It's just too hot for jeans! This dress was especially exciting for me because it is loooong. I am 5'8'' and it is so hard to find long maxi dresses. I'm really picky about length too, they have to touch the ground or I fell they just don't look right on me. This dress comes in a few other colors but it just recently went on sale so there may not be many left. It's a pretty simple look, but that's what I love.
Oh and my little man Jackson would not leave my side while we took the pictures so I had to include him in a few... ;)

JOGGER JUMPSUIT

I have been totally obsessed with jumpsuits lately. They just make you feel so put together. (except when you have to use the restroom) The gold accessories and zipper give this particular jumpsuit a more glam feel in my opinion. It is extremely comfortable but still fancy. In these photos the color is coming off more as a red, but in reality, it's a burnt orange color. This will look so great in the Fall with a leather jacket over it. Ahh can't wait!

EASY BREEZY

Another great Kohl's find. If you can't tell by now I shop at Kohl's a lot. They really do have great pieces and I am still always pleasantly surprised. I absolutely love this dress. It is so soft and feminine. Great for those hot summer days.
PS I hope you don't get too sick of the backgrounds in my pictures. My husband graduates in December and until then we are still living with my parents and since we are out in the country, it's always easier to take pictures before my clothes get wrinkled after a 30 min car ride.

COUNTRY ROAD

I have said before that I am from a very small town in the country and sometimes I just love to bring out my roots. Every summer, parishes around us have their Church Picnics. It is such a part of summer to me. I wore this last Sunday to one. On our way there, we found this picture perfect country road. A gravel road with corn growing along side it...doesn't get more country than that! The picnics are usually very dusty and your feet can get so dirty, so I opted for booties and I think they looked pretty cute. And they were very practical. A practical shoe is usually not what I go for, but in this case it worked out.

BUTTERFLIES

The thing I love most about the LC Lauren Conrad Collection from Kohl's, is the girly details. I am a sucker for that. And this romper did not fall short of my expectations from the line. First of all I thought the butterfly print was adorable, but I also loved the small bows that snapped in the front for closure. Won me over immediately. Plus her clothes are always at a great price. I can not say enough good things about the brand.
I hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th of July. We headed down to The Lake of the Ozarks and had a great weekend. The weather was awesome! Long weekends are the best, until Monday rolls around...

BLUE FLORAL

For Memorial Day weekend, my husband and I flew to Bozeman Montana for our nephews Baptism. We are now officially Godparents! If you love the outdoors, Bozeman is the place to be. The mountains surround you and it really is like looking a a painting. We had a great time. That was until about 4:15 am Tuesday morning. I woke up and felt horrible. Let's just skip the details and say that the toilet was my best friend for the next six hours. I never throw up so this was a horribly new experience for me. I kept teasing my husband "in sickness and in health". He was so great though, he slept in the bathroom with me until it was time for our flight. True love. We thought it may have been altitude sickness since we took a hike Monday, but I definitely caught some kind of bug and even though I am feeling much better than I was Tuesday, I am still not quite right so please excuse my lack of posts. But here are some photos I took outside my brother-in-laws house. Such a terrible thing to look at right? I hope you all had a wonderful and healthy weekend. I can't believe May has come and pretty much went. Enjoy these photos from Bozeman!
